Groomer Spends 3 Hours In Middle Of The Night To Have Heart Broken At Animal Underneath Matted Fur

Kari Falla of BGE Grooming in Oviedo, Florida, was getting ready to retire for the night when a post on Facebook caught her attention.

A woman named Mary Dixon posted on the Facebook group, Lost and Found Animals in Orange, Seminole, and Volusia Countries Florida, that there was an abandoned dog at the side of the road and she was asking for a volunteer to help clean him and take him for the night.

It was already late at night so rescue groups and Animal Services couldn’t get to him until the morning.

When Kari saw this post, she didn’t even hesitate. She volunteered and Mary brought the dog to BGE grooming at around midnight.

Kari immediately got to work and cleaned him up. It took longer than usual, especially since it looked like it’s been years since he’s had someone clean him.

But Kari pushed on until she could finish the job.

Kari Fall is the owner of BGE Grooming, a professional grooming and creative grooming salon for pets. BGE Grooming, or The Best Grooming Experience, promises a stress-free, pamper-full, personal attention to your pets.

They make sure to work on one dog at a time, unless they’re from the same family, to keep the environment peaceful and stress-free.

There are no loud noises, no loud dogs barking, and no cages. The dogs are groomed immediately, instead of having to wait for hours for their turn.

BGE Grooming is proud to be a member of the National Dog Groomers Association of America, Inc, the National Association of Professional Creative Groomers LLC, PPGuild, and the Creative Groomers Association.

They are dedicated to giving your pets the best grooming experience and positive reinforcement during and after their grooms.

They also offer the Therapeutic Rehabilitation Grooming Program for pets with need for extra care and attention.

Kari and her team work with the parents to help their pets overcome their difficulties. But, in order for this to work, Kari recommends that the parents and their pets have to come in regularly to establish a trusting relationship between Kari, the parents, and the pet.

They had a parent client who came in with their 5-month-old puppy, Coby. Coby had a traumatizing experience with a previous groomer and refused to be groomed.

Kari required them to come in once a week and, after lots of love and positive reinforcement, now, Coby loves to be groomed so much at BGE that he even pulls his mom to go inside BGE.

BGE Grooming is also part of the Seminole County Public School Student Community Service Program.

As a member of this program, they can accept volunteers who need to perform community service hours.

Or if you just want to volunteer at BGE Grooming, they accept volunteers all the time. Just email them your resume to apply.

With all that Kari does for the community and for the dogs, it’s no wonder she wholeheartedly volunteered to help Mary.

It took her three hours to clean him up and now he looks like a different dog.

She named him Lucky. Lucky now lives with a foster family while officials search for his previous family.
