Great Dane Helps Girl Walk Again And Gets The Best Day Of His Life In Return

You just cannot beat having a great friend.

They’re there for the good times, such as fun events, successes, and laughs, as well as the bad—traumatic events, being ill, and the occasional bad day.

And having a dog as your best friend is equally as helpful as opposed to a human. How is this possible? Allow us to tell you one of the cutest stories you may have ever heard in your life.

A young girl named Bella, only 11 years old, lives with a condition called Morquio Syndrome which largely affects her mobility.

Because of this, and after volunteering at the Service Dog Project Inc. for one year, she was lucky enough to receive a service dog named George.

Bella says that the pair felt an instant friendship and admitted that George needed her as much as she needed him. But the best is yet to come.

Because of George’s undeniable service and friendship, Bella and her mom, with the help of BarkPost, created a fun-filled day called “George’s Best Day” and planned several activities for their beautiful Great Dane.

Some included running around in the snow, an activity George absolutely adores, a stay in a hotel filled with toys and dog accessories, a large plate of delicious hamburgers, and a trip to a dog treat store! It is safe to say that George was simply in heaven for the entire day.
