Hard-Working Garbage Man Graduates From Harvard Law School.

Nothing is really impossible and unattainable in life as long as we keep going and persevering.

Meet Rehan

Rehan Staton’s inspiring story proves that there is nothing too impossible or too hard for someone who’s hard-working and persistent.

He Settled

It was a hard life for Rehan’s family. When he graduated from high school with a GPA of 2.0, he figured he would just haul garbage with his brother at Bates Trucking and Trash Removal in Maryland.

They Believed In Him

However, upon seeing his potential, his co-workers encouraged him to pursue his studies despite his low grades in high school, so he applied and eventually got accepted to Bowie State University, and then transferred to the University of Maryland.

Supportive Family

Rehan said it was all a lot easier because of his support system. He said, “I had a great dad, a great older brother who sacrificed, and eventually they helped me find my way.”

He’s A Law Student

Later on, he decided to enter Harvard Law School. His tuition was paid for by filmmaker Tyler Perry.

He’s Now A Lawyer

After a few years, Rehan has earned his degree in Law at the prestigious school and now plans to pursue a career at a law firm in New York.

Seasons Change

Rehan said he feels a lot of pride in being able to live in a decent house that has floors, no holes in the ceiling, and no mold festering.

His Inspiration

He also said that he got his being a community-oriented person from his dad who taught him to always help others even if he’s going through something himself.
